The Pacific Northwest LSAMP Alliance and the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is hosting the 2018 annual conference, Emerging STEM Leaders-Dream it, Do it, on March 1-3, 2018. This year’s conference will draw over 200 minority students from 2 and 4-year colleges across the Pacific Northwest and Region 3 of SHPE. The conference is an informative event for University faculty, staff, and students that will focus on sharing institutional best practices as it relates to diverse undergraduate students in STEM. In addition, students will engage in a research poster symposium, an opportunity fair, networking sessions, and evening social events to build motivation and community.

The opportunity fair allows employers, STEM graduate programs, and national labs and research programs to connect with potential STEM candidates face-to-face and share employment, internship, or employment needs.
Employers, STEM graduate programs, and national labs have the opportunity to purchase a booth for $250. It will allow you to connect with 200+ minority students form the Pacific Northwest and SHPE Region 3 (including, Colorado, Utah, Kansas, and New Mexico). Each booth has a 6 foot table and 2 chairs.
